The Rees Scholarship Foundation (Rees), a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of AHRI, last year awarded $147,500 to 85 students, including twelve military veterans, studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry. The Foundation supports workforce development by awarding scholarships to qualified students enrolled in an HVACR program at an accredited school. Since Rees was founded in 2003, more than $930,000 in scholarships have been awarded to over 500 deserving students and instructors.
